What can your Scout Shop do for you? We can help your unit be the best dressed unit out there. We can provide Custom Unit #s that has your unit # together. This helps parents who don't like to sew all those little #s one at a time. They also look a lot cooler than the others. You can put your Veteran Bar on it, or you can put the name of your Chartered Organization on it. They come in Green and Red #s. We can also help your unit create their own Temporary Campout patch or Pinewood Derby Patch. Does your unit want their own Pack or Troop hat? What about a Neckercheif with a design created by one of the boys? What about Tshirts or Polo style shirts to wear when doing Service Projects? We can do all of it. New for 2010. Every boy who earns a new Rank in 2010, will be able to earn and wear the new 2010 Rank Emblems. Here a few of them and what they look like. They are available at all Scout Shops. You must have proof of earning the rank award. You can not purchase a set for a frame or personal collection without proof of earning.

2010 Program Helps for Cub Scouts!
There have been some folks who have heard that there won't be a Program Helps book like there has been in the past. The National Council has created an online version that you can view at this link.

2010 Historic Merit Badges
Many people have asked about the requirements for these 4 new Merit Badges. Please click here for more information. The Scout Shop will not carry a Merit Badge Pamplet for these badges. We will have the patches available soon. You must have an advancement form just like all the other Merit Badges to purchase these badges.

Tax Exempt Forms
The Houston Area Scout Shops are requesting all units to fill out a new Tax Exempt Form. Please click here for the form. We must have this new form to continue to give each unit no tax on those Items they would normally purchase for their units. If you have any questions about this, please ask the Store Manger at your location. This must be done every 4 years. You must also have a form on file at each store that  you will visit. The forms must be originals, not copies. If you like, you can mail a copy of each form to the store(s) you visit the most. If you have any questions about this, please ask your Store(s) manager.
