NRG Arena

The STEM/NOVA Science Fair is a council-wide science competition hosted by the STEM/NOVA Program Committee and sponsored by GEA Industrial Automation and Robotics.  It is held in conjunction with Scout Fair to showcase the talent, ingenuity, and curiosity of our youth.  

The first place winner in both the science and engineering categories will win an RC drone with an HD camera. 

Schedule

        10 am  – 11 am  Set-up
  11 am – 12:30 pm  Judging
  1:45 pm Awards Ceremony

 

For Scouts working on the Supernova Awards, participation in a local science fair is needed for several awards. Participation in this event counts towards this requirement.

  • Dr. Bernard Harris Supernova Award (requirement 5)
  • Thomas Edison Supernova Awards (requirement 5)
  • Dr. Sally Ride Supernova Award (requirement 4)
  • Wright Brothers Supernova Award (requirement 5)
